Everything we do is Mission!
Your financial support of the MISSION of the Church is an act of grace; God is working through you. Your contributions help fulfill the Great Co-Mission of the church - to make disciples and continue Christ’s work. If you support the church, you are in Mission!
The church’s daily life might not seem like mission - BUT IT IS! Our whole budget is mission work - utility bills, insurance payments, maintenance, salaries, napkins, computers light bulbs, apportionment, signs, books Bibles, VBS - ALL OF IT! Everything we do is a way to continue the work of Christ!
“Bring the whole tithe … says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the windows of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough for it all.” Malachi 3:10.
God promises us a blessing in return for our faithfulness, but that blessing is not ours individually. God is not promising a quid-pro-quo to us in our personal lives; God is simply promising that what He can do with what we give is more than we can imagine.
“No to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” Ephesians 3:20-21
