On Sunday, March 1st, the youth ministry will attend a Chaddah Dance Performance at UWF. We need to leave the church at 4:45 PM and will return by 8 PM.

This is about awareness of Human Trafficking. We encourage parents to attend as well. This will be a great talking point with your student.

Here is a little bit about the Chaddah Dance Co.:
Our vision is three-fold. We perform to bring awareness, exposing the atrocities of human trafficking, to activate others to do something about it, and to connect local trafficking organizations/ministries with those who want to get involved.
As we prepare to kick off our next performance season, we are looking for churches or organizations who would welcome us to perform for their congregation or group in February of 2020. We would be happy to travel and bring this to you for a weekend in the month of February 2020.
Our unique and powerful production entitled “Encounters of Hope” shines a light on the topic of human trafficking in India. Since 2006 I have made 45+ trips to India, focusing on bringing hope to the victims of human trafficking. As the director of this production, I have personally witnessed some of these stories (and many more). Our production illustrates true stories of girls (and boys) that have fallen victim to human trafficking. Through the beautiful art of dance and powerful media presentation we follow the lives of six real victims; from the initial act of being trafficked, to the struggles they go through every day, to the rescue and hope of Jesus Christ. The performing arts have always had a special way to draw people in.
Human trafficking is on the rise, and is present in all 50 states in the US. There are approximately 4.5 million victims in America and over 20.9 million victims globally. Our mission with this production is to bring awareness to this issue and help your local area gain understanding of where they can connect and get involved with local organizations and ministries.
