Youth Ministries

The Student Ministry at St. Luke is a Christ centered ministry for students in the 6th – 12th grade. We strive to be faithful to the Great Commission given by Jesus to His Apostles to “go and make disciples.” As the Director of Student Ministries, it is my desire that our young people come to receive Jesus Christ as Savior, grow as disciples, and live a life marked by service to others.

Our weekly schedule for students provides a consistent basis for Christian growth through the study of God’s Word and through fellowship with others in the Body of Christ:

• Sunday morning classes for Jr. and Sr. High students at 9:30 a.m.
• Sunday afternoon Youth Drama Team practice from 4:40 - 5:20 p.m.
• Sunday evening Youth Choir practice from 5:20 - 6:00 p.m.
• Sunday evening Youth Fellowship from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. for Jr. and Sr. High students which includes supper, praise and worship led by our youth band, and a message geared to instruct and encourage our youth.
• Tuesday night Bible Study classes for College Age Young Adults from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.
• Wednesday night Bible Study classes for both Jr. and Sr. High students from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.

Annually, retreats, service projects, mission trips, drama productions, and a host of other activities provide our students with unique opportunities for growth and commitment on a deeper level. Check the calendar of events to see what is coming up!
