St. Luke Preschool
Our Mission
At St. Luke, we offer an educational setting in a Christian environment which offers encouragement and provides opportunities for children to learn and grow intellectually, spiritually, emotionally, and socially.
About Us
St. Luke United Methodist Preschool is dedicated to the education of young children. We offer a developmentally appropriate Christian curriculum that promotes learning through child-centered, hands-on activities.
We are licensed by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) which governs Christian schools and requires that we meet the state and local requirements for licensing in addition to meeting ACSI standards which includes providing a Christian curriculum.
Activities
It is important to us that the children in our school learn through their play. In our experience, children who know they will have the opportunity to “get messy” and have personal attention will come joyfully to our program. Therefore, we offer diverse activities including art, story-time, music, games, and much more that give children hands-on experience with a variety of materials. We also have Chapel and computer time each week in addition to our curriculum activities.
Classes
We offer classes for children ages one to four. Class placement is determined by the child’s age on September 1 of the current school year. This is consistent with the public school’s placement policy. We offer the following class day options: Tuesday/Thursday, Monday/Wednesday/ Friday, or Monday-Friday.
Class Size
We offer small class sizes; only 8 students per class and only six students in the one-year-old class.
Ratios
Our ratios are the best around!
One-year-old class: 1 to 3
Two-year-old class: 1 to 4
Three & Four-year-old classes: 1 to 8
Hours of Operation
Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Extended Care: Monday-Friday 8-9 a.m. and 1-2 p.m.
Tuition and Fees
Monthly Tuition:
Tuesday/Thursday $140
Monday/Wednesday/Friday $180
Monday-Friday $220
Annual Registration Fee:
$100 for the first child; $50 each additional child.
