A recap of the exciting activities from last year in Troop 36:

Brownie Troop 36 is grateful to St. Luke for its sponsorship. For the 2006-2007 school year, the troop consisted of approximately 32 Daisies and Brownies. The girls participated in the Nut Sale at the beginning of the year and the famous Girl Scout cookie sale at the end of February! We had a cookie booth set up at Chili’s Restaurant on a Saturday in March during lunch and dinner hours.

The girls had fun on “Thinking Day” that was celebrated in February. The girls visited booths to learn about international foods, traditions, and crafts, as well as swap crafts that we made. Troop 36 sponsored a booth on Greece.

Some of the try-its we earned this year were “Girl Scout Ways” and “Dancercise.” We attended a medieval festival in Defuniak Springs, worked at the St. Luke Pumpkin Patch and went Christmas caroling on Sunnehanna Blvd.  St. Luke was the host of the “Me and My Guy” Father/Daughter dance in January for Cluster 18. Many of our girls and dads danced the night away!

We had a busy spring planned with a Valentine’s Party, Easter Party, Mother/Daughter Breakfast, & a spring campout at Big Lagoon State Park.
