Boy Scouts
The Boy Scout program promotes character development, citizenship training, and mental and physical fitness in youth. Character encompasses a boy’s personal qualities, values, and outlook. Citizenship training aims at teaching responsibilities to young men within the home, local community, nation, and the world. Mental and physical fitness motivates boys to work toward goals of improving his general physical condition and health.
The Boy Scout program at St. Luke includes Cub Scout Pack 415 for boy in the 1st through the 5th grade and Troop 415 for boys 11–17 years of age (or at least completed the 5th grade). Both groups meet on Tuesday evenings at St. Luke Church.
